A CONTROLLED PROCESS
Your artwork is not simply stretched and sent away. It passes through a defined preparation process designed for large-format professional printing.
Convert2Print reads your original image, matches it to the selected physical format, creates the required 300-DPI pixel dimensions, prepares its colours for the print condition and builds a PDF/X-4 production file. Automated checks confirm that the expected dimensions, profile and page structure are present before production.
The existing image content is preserved. The process changes technical print properties, not the idea or composition of the artwork.

A technically controlled process is not the same as a perfectly invisible process. Some changes are a normal consequence of moving from a glowing RGB display to ink on paper.
Highly saturated reds, oranges, blues and pinks can be mapped to printable CMYK values. Some become slightly darker, lighter or less vivid.
Very deep RGB blacks can change character when converted into controlled combinations of cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink.
Very bright screen areas cannot emit light from paper. Their appearance depends on paper tone, ink and viewing light.
Enlargement can reveal source limitations. The preparation keeps texture and contours, but cannot recover detail that never existed in the original.
The right-hand examples on the quality page are colour-managed screen renderings made directly from the final customer PDF/X-4. They show the delivered production file without adding an artificial matte-paper simulation.
The final appearance also depends on printer, inks, paper surface, paper whiteness, viewing light and your display calibration. Matte paper normally appears less luminous than a backlit screen.
