A simple step-by-step guide for preparing print-ready files.
Convert2Print helps you turn images, illustrations and PDF files into print-ready files. You upload your file, choose a few settings, preview the result and generate the final export.
You do not need graphic design software or print production experience. The system guides you through the most important choices.
You can upload images or PDFs. Multiple files can be added to the same job. Each file gets its own preview, settings and export result.
For batch work, select the files you want to convert before generating the ZIP.
Use Photo for camera images, scans and normal photographs. Photo mode keeps the original photo proportions and uses automatic sRGB color output.
Use Illustration for artwork, posters, AI images, drawings, signs, digital art and print designs. Illustration mode gives access to ratios, A-series paper sizes, DPI and color profiles.
When you upload a PDF, Convert2Print analyzes it automatically. A standard PDF can be converted to PDF/X-4. If the file is already PDF/X-4, it will be detected.
The preview layout controls how many files you see while working.
The Original panel shows information about the uploaded file before conversion: pixel size, print size and aspect ratio.
Metrics update when you change settings. They help you understand what the final output will become before you export.
For Illustration, you can either keep the original size or choose a custom output height in pixels. The width is calculated automatically from the selected ratio.
For Photo, you choose the output height in centimeters. The width is calculated automatically from the original photo proportions.
PDF files keep their original document size when converted to PDF/X-4.
Ratio controls the final shape of the artwork.
If a crop is applied, the preview shows what will be included in the final export.
DPI controls print detail.
Color profiles control how colors are prepared for output.
Photo mode uses sRGB automatically.
Templates help organize batch exports into folders inside the final ZIP file.
Example template names: Etsy, Amazon, Website, Customer.
You can rename files before export. The chosen name is used for the generated files.
Use Restore original if you want to return to the uploaded filename.
When conversion is finished, Convert2Print creates one ZIP file. Open the ZIP to find your converted files. If templates were used, files are organized inside template folders.
