Choose correctly

Three preparation workflows.

PhotoFor camera photographs and photographic scans. The original proportions are retained and the output is an sRGB JPG.

AI Art & IllustrationFor AI-generated artwork, digital illustrations, drawings, signs and graphic artwork that may need scaling or a print ratio.

PDF to PDF/X-4For an existing PDF that needs a controlled, validated PDF/X-4 production file while retaining its physical page size.

Batch processingFor preparing several supported files in one job. Each selected file keeps its own workflow settings.

Output controls

Size, ratio, crop and DPI.

Size

Illustrations can be enlarged for a chosen pixel size or print format. Photos are sized to real print dimensions while keeping their original proportions. PDF conversion retains the original physical document dimensions.

Ratio and crop

AUTO keeps the original ratio. A fixed ratio or A-series format can require cropping. Always inspect the crop preview to confirm that important content remains inside the final frame.

DPI

DPI connects pixel dimensions to physical print size. Use 300 DPI for most close-viewed professional prints. 150 DPI can suit very large prints viewed from farther away; 600 DPI is intended for supported high-detail illustration output.

Maximum sizePhoto and illustration output can be prepared up to 20,000 pixels on the longest side. At 300 DPI, 20,000 pixels corresponds to approximately 169.33 cm.

Managed colour

Choose the profile for the destination.

sRGB: used automatically for Photo JPG output and suitable for broad compatibility.
PSO Coated v3: European CMYK workflow for coated stock.
PSO Uncoated v3: European CMYK workflow for uncoated stock.
US SWOP: North American CMYK workflow when required by the print provider.

Screen and print are different.RGB screens emit light; CMYK print reflects it. Some bright RGB colours cannot be reproduced exactly in CMYK. Convert2Print controls and documents the conversion, but it cannot make every screen colour physically printable.

Measured processing

Every result includes a metrics analysis.

The analysis records relevant measurements and production checks for the selected workflow. Use it to understand the prepared result, especially after enlargement or colour conversion.

Metrics describe the technical change; they are not a promise that a low-resolution original will gain genuine new detail.

Simple pricing

Free options cover smaller output sizes and PDF to PDF/X-4 conversion. Paid processing is used for larger photos, larger illustrations and selected batch sizes.

Multiple files

Batch jobs, names and templates.

You can add multiple supported files to a job and choose which files to process. Each file has its own preview and settings.

Templates can organise generated files into named folders inside a final ZIP. You can also rename an output before processing or restore the uploaded filename.

Which workflow should I choose for an AI image?

Choose AI Art & Illustration when you want downloadable production files. Choose AI Print & Deliver when you want Convert2Print to prepare, print and deliver the AI illustration as a physical poster.

Does enlargement create new original detail?

Enlargement creates the pixel dimensions required for the selected output, but the available source detail still depends on the uploaded artwork. Review the preview and metrics at the intended size.

Which CMYK profile should I select?

Use the profile requested by your print provider. If the printer has not supplied a specification, ask them which output condition matches their paper and production process.

What does bleed mean?

Bleed extends artwork beyond the final cut edge. It prevents an unintended white line after trimming. Illustration output can include no-bleed, 3 mm and 5 mm PDF/X-4 variants.
